Colored Cast Shadows

How was revit not included the ability to change the color tone of a cast shadow in plan, or given the ability to select which walls cast a shadow and which don't.

I am working on an interior plan and just want to dress up the graphics a bit more to create a more visually interesting drawing. I would really like to change the tone of the shadows on the plan to a light blue to and disable the exterior walls from casting a shadow onto the drawing sheet. How have these options not been added to the software??? They seem like such simple operations. I don't want to pay for a plug-in to do it, and from what I've read about it, does not seem very user friendly.

Because Revit isn't a rendering software.

Twinmotion is free.

You can change the color, pattern, texture, opacity, of anything else in revit. Revit does in fact create 3D color rendered, shaded, images of a modeled building.  This is one of the very few items that can be seen in plan drawings that cannot be visually manipulated.. And a feature I would like to see added to a technical drawing, not an out of scale blurry jpeg rendering.

Mainly I posted so that hopefully the powers at be in Autodesk may on the slight chance see requests about this feature and develop it. Not to chat to a grump with too much time on their hands that unhelpfully responds to forum posts in their free time.
