Color Scheme not printing properly

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have created a key plan for my project with a color scheme built in for areas in contract and areas not in contract. I also have these color schemes shown on my enlarged area plans.  Everything shows up fine in my Revit model (see attached image "the way it Should look". But when I print my color scheme covers up everything on my floor plan (see attached "the way it prints".

I have tried setting my color scheme to both background and foreground, nothing changes. I have tried turning onto wireframe and hidden lines. Again nothing changes... I am at a loss as to what to do. Any ideas?!?!

Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issues.  I created a color scheme as a test, it works properly in the Revit sheets, but when I print the image the color scheme is in the foreground, blocking all the walls, furniture, etc.  Any assistance regarding this issues would be greatly appreciated.  I also attached a screen shot of the color scheme in Revit on the left and the PDF print on the right.

have you tried printing to a different pdf printer?

have you tried this on another workstation?

is this occurring on only 1 file or any file?

Mine was happening for all workstations.  I have not tried another pdf writer because I am using a work computer and I only have 1 option for a pdf writer. So far this has only happened for this one file because I have not used color schemes in any other project. (Mostly because it doesn't work correctly) I have to use Regions instead.

@Anonymous

most  cases this occurance has to do with the PDF printer driver...(we have 3 pdf printers installed and it always works switching to another)

I would suggest that if can't install a different one and you are able to share the file; someone can maybe try it on a different printer
