Color scheme for different floor types

Hi,

I'm doing a landscape planting plan in Revit. I want to know if I can  make a color scheme for different floor types just like rooms.

Not sure what I can do.

This is what I have in shaded mode. which is not what I have when I make a PDF.

Yes you can. Pick lines to create Room Separation Lines. Create and tag rooms. In VG, uncheck room tags to hide them. Create the color scheme for rooms.

Reverse engineer from the attached file.

One way to do it:

Make sure "Room Bounding" is checked for your Floors.

Then add Rooms, set up Color Scheme.

Another way: ( which looks like what you have now)

Use different Materials/Shaded Colors/Render Appearances for each floor, then print colored views.

why don't you just set different material types for each floor type and show it in shaded mode?

or the other option is to use filters in your visibility/graphic.

why do you want to use color scheme?

if i know more details, maybe i can help you better.

I would make a View Filter for each floor type and apply them to your View, giving each type an override for a solid color fill or a pattern or whatever.

This was the solution I was going to suggest.
