Hello,
Is there a way to have a color gradient over areas either in a floor plan or isometric view in Revit? Or make the edges of a room color infill or filled region soft and fade out? The image below is the look I am trying to achieve if that helps.

Maybe you can get there with Masses that have the color gradient.
FWIW: https://wrw.is/color-fill-legend-in-a-3d-view-and-see-rooms-in-3d-in-revit/
Would you create the mass over the general area then alter the color options?
...and place the masses on a specific workset that can be filtered out of other views not needing them.
I use Roof object as 3d room.
When you set the gradient, you can set the material as gradient and change the color to suit your need.
That gradient looks amazing! How did you set up the settings on the graphics and appearance tab? I tried but I can't get the gradient to appear. It still looks solid.
I set the graphic display as realistic to get the gradient to show. Also I set the gradient texture size to be average size of the room like 10'x10' (3mx3m).
I'm trying to achieve this gradient but in the realistic view setting I don't see anything, the roof is completely transparent. I can see some color in the shaded view, but not a gradient. When I render I get the gradient but no transparency. Any more details would be so helpful!
Does it have to be in Revit?
This looks like a hundred times easier done in Photoshop. Even the free https://www.photopea.com/
