A client has a bunch of data (2 Revit models and some DWGs) I'm going to work on in the Autodesk Construction Cloud. I need to download this data and work locally, because we're the only ones working on it and don't have enough licenses to work directly in cloud. The client did some basic work - coordinate system and DWG-reference setup - and we need to take over from there. However, when I download the models to local drive, all the references are lost (not even shown as "not found" in the Manage Links dialog) as well as the coordinate system (coordinates of PBP and SP are all zeros).
Is this normal behaviour? Any thoughts on the logic of that?
What happens when I upload the local model back to the cloud? Will the shared coordinates I'll have to redefine for local work get lost again? The client seems to have a global reference point defined, so I suppose I'll just make sure to have my PBP and internal origin aligned to it and I'll reestablish the shared coordinates after uploading with my single cloud license. However, I'm not exactly satisfied with such a workflow.
The coordinates of the PBP and SP being 0,0,0 doesn't necessarily mean anything. Do you have the DWG that was used to set up the coordinate system in Revit? Link it into Revit via Shared Coordinates and see if it lands at the right spot.
if i were you, i would consider a licence for a fews months. much less trouble.

I download the model and open locally -> PBP and SP have no offsets.
If you know the Coordinates, then use Specify Coordinates at Point tool and enter them manually.

BTW: Is there more than one Site listed under Location and Site: Site? If so, make sure you are using the correct one.
