Changing the date on a titleblock on individual sheets

Hello everyone, we are doing a phased project although both phases are in the same Revit model.  We are issuing the Phase 1 CDs for permit this Friday and the CDs for Phase 2 next Friday.  We separated the sheets by phase but they are all using the same titleblock and thus have the same issue date on all the sheets.  We would like to add a parameter to the titleblock so that different sheets can have different dates.  I have attached a picture of the permit set parameter and date.   BTW, I am not very familiar with titleblocks, project parameters, etc. so please be detailed with answers/explanations. Thanks

Are there any same sheets in both phase 1 and phase sets?

Yes, there a few sheets which will be in both sets.

The simplest way is use Project Issue Date label for your tilteblock and set to Phase 1 date prior to printing Phase 1 Set, then set to Phase 2 date prior to printing Phase 2 set.

This sounds like it wouldn't allow different dates to simultaneously exist on different sheets.  You're suggesting just change the date before printing?  I don't think this is exactly the solution we're looking for.

Maybe a better way to ask is how to create a date that is sheet-specific within the model?

What is why I asked if you have shared sheets for both sets.  If there were no shared sheets then it would be simply done with visibility parameters on two different labels, or assigning a unique Revision to each set and use Current revision date..

Sounds like your Titleblock Date label is using the Project Issue Date. Edit the Label and change its Parameter to Sheet Issue Date.

...this do it for you?

@mattDCBLP

When all fails just add a shared text parameter into a label in the Title Block family, add it to the sheet  category in the model and enjoy typing in the dates to your liking!
