I recently upgraded to Revit 2018. When working on a model that I loaded in from 2017 I am no longer able to change the level of detail or scale in my ground floor plan view and it keeps popping up with "A serious error has occurred". The error only happens within this view - my sections, elevations etc work perfectly fine.
Can anyone help with this error?
Thank you
HI!
May it be that view properties (scale and level of detail) was blocked by view template?

Unfortunately that did not work. There are no view templates set up yet.
Have you audited the model? From what you are describing it sounds like that View might have gotten corrupted. Another thing to test would be to duplicate the view and test it, and also create a new floor plan from scratch of the same level and see if it keeps happening.
Hi @GRĀS
Can you attach your journal file?
Journal files reside in the following location:
The Journal folder is hidden by default in Windows.Journal files capture the actions taken by the software during a session of Revit, from the time the software starts to the time it stops. These text files can be used to troubleshoot technical problems with the software. Also I strongly recommend that you install updates, open the Autodesk desktop app and click My Updates.
