Changing Grid Lines

I want to edit Gridlines so that I can put in a "per view" editable break in it.  The one that comes with Revit cannot be edited from within the project and offers one with breaks in the middle but they are the same for every view.

Hello, The grids can break in differently in specific view if the 2D mode is put on.Refer this image . You should first put Center segment-None in Edit type properties of the Grid.

Except that makes it the same in every view there are gridlines.  They stop at the same spot.  It's not intuitive like section views or view windows.

If it is altering other views then you've missed the earlier instruction to toggle from 3D to 2D. That's required to only alter the specific view.
