I have a door that contains two glass panes. When I go to tag the curtain panel tags, it recognizes them and gives a tag, but it won't allow me to change the type. In the picture below, you can see them labeled as glass type A. I would like to change them to glass type B. I have hunted through the family properties and edit type properties, but there is no option to change to the correct glass type.
Any ideas?

It sounds like this situation would benefit from making the glazing within the door family using Shared Families nested into the door family. See the link below for the Revit Help page which explains the process of nesting a shared family into a parent family. This way you could independently tag the glazing panes in the door family, and you could change the glazing type in the door Family Editor (or create a Family Types parameter to allow you to change the glazing type in the project environment).
@Anonymous Glass A and B are using the same material. However, Glass A is a different type than Glass B.
@barthbradley the tags are Curtain Panel Tags. Therefore, I assume the tags are reading that information.
@barthbradleyI understand you now. It is labeled A, which is the type mark of a glass type. I assume the same glass is being called out in the doors, and that is what I would like to change.
My family for the tag reads the same parameters as your screenshot.
I'd change the Tag to read the "Mark" or "Comments" of the Panel, and then you can type an "A" or "B' each Instance of the Panel.
...I think your Tag is already reading an Instance Parameter value if they are displaying "A"s and "B"s and they are the same Types.
@barthbradleyThe wording in my original question can be a bit confusing. I will reword that. I set the type mark on the glass to A, B, and C for my respective glass types in the project. I know that the tag is reading that. You asked for that information, which I provided. What I would like to do is change the glass type on the door itself so I can leave my tagging system alone, and get the glazing on the door to change to comply with the tagging.
The answer you provided also works, yes. But it isn't exactly what I am looking for.

…"SO TO LEAVE MY TAGGING SYSTEM ALONE". okay, so what are the Tags' currently reporting? You never really answered that. You said: "the tags are Curtain Panel Tags. Therefore, I assume the tags are reading that information."
I followed up by asking: "What I am asking is what information they are reporting? What Label?"
So, again: what Curtain Panel information is their Tag currently reporting? "A" and "B" has got to come from somewhere. Where?
@AnonymousLook, I'm thankful for your help, and thank you for being patient with me.
I included a screenshot of where the tag is reading from, it is the "type mark" parameter. For this type of glass, the 1" Glass Type (tinted), it reads "A", and for the other types, "B" and "C".
Okay @MicBalla, here's my confusion...I thought you we talking about Doors and Tags. So what do Curtain Wall Panel Tags have to do with Curtain Wall Door Tags??? It appears from your first screenshot, that the Doors (indicated by Swing Lines) are Tagged with the same Tags as the Curtain Wall Panels. Am I reading that screenshot correctly. Are the Door actually Panels with Swing Lines?
...actually, I'm surprised no one asked you to post the file. Will you?
