Hello!
I'm a very new user of a revit.
Right now i'm trying to solve (as i see) a very simple problem.
I have a 2 connected reference lines and angle between them.
Lenghts and angle are parameters.
In this case when i try to change lengths - all works fine, but when i try to change angle - error appears (Constraints are not satisfied).
These ref lines i will further use for a simple rectange form creation. And i need to have a possibility to change these lengths and angle in project.
Feels like i missing something simple, but as i said im a very new in revit.
So, how to fix it, or may be there is just another way to achieve my goals?
PS. yes, i saw this topic http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture/angle-parameter-amp-2-length-parameters/m-p/6268576.... but it didn't helped me.
Hi navid.deshmukh, than you for the answer.
Yes generic template doing a trick, but in this template i cant create form. There is simply no "Create Form" button.
I tryed to copy my form element to this template, but error appears: "Can't copy elements between families created from "Pattern Based", "Generic Model Adaptive", or "Mass" templates, and other families or Revit projects."
Hi
I believe all the functions for creating form are the same, just use extrusions/revolves etc... on the create tab and use the pick lines option
