Changing a linked model's item properties

Hi guys,

I linked a structural model to my Architectural model. I'm trying to change the "grid's" properties on the linked file. I want to make them smaller (from 1/8 to 1/16). Is there any way to change the properties of an item on a linked model like this to make it proper with our Architectural model?

(My Architectural Model scale is 1/16"=1'-0" but the grids on Structural are designed for 1/8"=1'-0" and they look huge for this specific view.)

Thanks and Keep safe!

Normally I would turn off the Structural Grid and only display their structural element. That way you have the control over the grid display and not rely on Structural model to dictate your view.

So is there a way to copy all their grid to my model so that I wouldn't do it again?

use the copy/monitor tool to copy the grids from structural and monitor them. If the structural model changed, you will be notified and be able to coordinate them.

You can use copy/monitor. Select the structural grids

Copy MonitorCopy Monitor

Once it is copied over, you can swap it with Architectural Grids
