I have a host model in which I work in (Model A). In Model A I have a Linked Model (Model B). This Linked Model B also has a nested Model (Model C) inside of it. In Model A, I can see all the elements from Model B and from Model C, but I cant create view filters for Model C only. How can I create view filters for Model C from within model A?

Link the nested model directly. Make sure to change it to an overlay in the linked model that is also referencing it so that it doesn't come along for the ride.
Another option would be to make a dedicated view or views in the parent model that you could use with "By Linked View".
Thats also what I ended up doing. I hoped it wound be possible without linking Model C directly and without chancing something in Model B. The truth is there not only model C, but like 20 Model C´s and to create a filter for each of them is time-consuming.

If Model C is still linked into Model B, there won't be any issues. I've always avoided nested references because trouble shooting them is much more time consuming than creating view settings (filters) for them. The lesser of two evils so to speak.
