Change the limit of number in multiple array

Hi, when I use "array" to duplicate some elements like mullions, I alway have the limit of 200 elements. Can this limit be changed? Thanks

this is hardcoded into the software.  It cannot be altered by the end user at this time.  You will have to do the array at a max of 200 and then array the array.

Thank you for your post.  I apologize for this limitation at this time, but we are always looking for ways to improve our product delivery. We do have a development product feedback link that can help build momentum in functionality changes like this. For reference I have listed this below. I would suggest that you also submit this feedback through the link below, and explain the business case for such and improvement, and how a user can benefit from this change in day-to-day navigation of the software. I understand this is another post, but this will help explain to the product manager the need for this change, which can then be leveraged in round table discussions for enhancements to the product.

I hope this helps.

A workaround exists. Create the parameter first and then link the array to the parameter as a label. You can then set the parameter higher than the 200 limit. Deleting the parameter is optional afterward but you won't be able to change the number of items in the array if you do. It's a superficial limit but it will slow down.

While the workaround may work in a family creation environment,  the limitation still persists in version 2022 while in the project environment; since global parameters cannot be linked to array counts.

It is not often that arrays of over 200 are needed, however there are many applications that surpassing this limit would be required.  For example, when creating a large complex ceiling using many baffles, using the array command would be an efficient way to control the count and the spacing.

There are other ways to work around the hard coded limit, however as a parametric software, it is odd to place such a limitation.
