Change the height of the project

I've created my project with a level at 0mm, but I want it to be -1000mm, how can I do this without setting the levels - Elevation Base to Survey Point.

I still want the Elevation base to be "Project base point".

In simple terms, I want all the objects to move downwards, but the project base point to be at the same point.

Thank you for the post.  While you could move all of the geometry up or down in elevation as needed, that is not the recommended approach in Revit.  The best recommendation is to move the coordinates not the actual model geometry.

Something similar to this approach would be recommended:

Thank you,

yeah, but this uses the survey point as the base point. Can't this be done using the project base point?

I mean, if my survey point is around 1000mm, I would want that point to be the project base point so that the levels at survey height(1000mm) show as 0mm.

If I do the process mentioned in that link, my survey point is going to be at 0mm. I would still want it to be at 1000mm

If  understand this correctly and you want:

1. Level elevation to be measured from Project Base Point (PBP)

2. And the Project to be 1000mm lower than where it is now but the PBP to remain where it is in relation to Survey Point

Then the option you have is to move the PBP 1000mm down in an elevation view which will bring all objects down 1000mm and then unclip the PBP and move it back up by 1000mm leaving the geometry at the lower position.

This is not recommended though as Ryan mentioned as this will essentially move all model and detail elements at once with a possibility that something will go wrong.

So basically do this at your own risk and if you are sure you can check that everything moved correctly

I would not do this in a production model, I would try to resolve it by using Survey Point as described by Ryan.

So you PBP and SP are at the same elevation?  Just un-clip both and move them up 1000 mm.  The re-clip them.

P/S:  I did not read all comments so it may already be covered.

You can un-clip and move the project base point as another approach (should you prefer that method).  As long as the Level Type Properties > Elevation Base is set to Project Base Point it will reflect the distance.

Thanks,

Hi Ryan,

"un-clip and move the project base point"

I am sure above is the solution for this thread, same i was looking.

Thanks Ryan,
