Change shape of outermost layer in wall

Hi fellas!

I need to change the shape in the outermost layer of a wall.
I've been fiddling some with "parts" but can't get it to work like I want to (change the shape in the bottom, according to red lines in pic).
I don't get enough of shape handles.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Split part to smaller pieces then edit their shapes.

Thanks for helping out. This happens when I try Divide parts -> Edit sketch and try to draw in an elevation.

That is because the default dividing parts workplane is across the wall. You need to set the workplane to along the wall by picking a wall face or a reference plane parallel to the wall when you start the command.

Thanks. Got it working now, but not with the handles though. I've been using "Exclude parts" now.
This kinda works but I wonder if thats what you meant and if this is a good way?

As an alternative,

You could always just use a separate thin wall, and edit it's profile, instead of trying to use Parts for something complicated.

Use Join Geometry so openings cut through both walls.

Exclude parts is a good way.
