Change how a multi story stair joins/starts from the platform

Hi fellas!

I can't figure this one out, how do you change a multi story stair so that the second run starts on top of the platform?
Like the beginning of the stairs. The stairs are of the same type (monolithic stairs)

Thanks in advance!

A notch Join works between 1st/last Tread and the landing...from the image you posted, the 2nd Run is starting with a Riser...Solution:

  1. Edit Stair
  2. Select top Run
  3. On the properties Palette
    • Deselect Start with Riser
    • Select End with Riser
  4. Finish Stair

The above will make the first Tread of the 2nd run coplanar with the landing allowing a notch join

Hi again! Thanks! But your solution doesn't show a finished stair where the second stair is on top of the platform, as seen in my images.

So you want the green, not the blue?

Exactly! The green one is a new stair, which makes it work. I want the blue area to look like the green one! But can't figure it out :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

Can you break it into two single-run stairs?

Well - I guess that's one way to do it. We do loose some of the multi story benefits though :/.
It can't be done with a multi story stair? Seems a bit weird that such a basic thing doesn't work easier.

You can still create it as a multi-story stairs.

How is this done?
We really can't figure this one out, been trying some type and instance properties but can't get it right.

  1. Add intermediate levels with an elevation = to that of the landing (uncheck create plans)
  2. You create 1 run + Landing from Level 1 to Interim Level between Level 1 and 2
  3. Select and Make Multistory
  4. Tab select >> Unpin >> Align as necessary
