change foot parameter to meter in formula

Hi, I am trying to put formula in parameter to change a foot length to meter length or square foot to square meter as shown in attached schedule, but multiplying doesn't work in value parameter.

Thank you for help,

No need to add any conversion factor because Revit can do it for you under field unit format.  See below for Length, Area similar.  By the way, some numbers in your table are way wrong.

Hi, Thank you for answering, This is a great way, however in my case parameters are labels and when I edit the label, I don't see the formatting as you can see in attached.

Hi @Anonymous

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community! Smiley (fröhlich)

You access the Calculated Value dialog when creating reporting parameters for tag labels and schedules.

  • To add a calculated value to a tag label, click  on the Edit Label dialog when editing the tag family.
  • To add a calculated parameter as a schedule field:
    • When creating a schedule, click  on the Schedule Properties dialog.
    • When editing a schedule, click Modify Schedule/Quantities tab  Parameters panel   (Calculated).

Use the Name field to create a unique name for the value. In schedules, this will become the column header title. Schedules also have the option of creating either a Formula or Percentage calculation. Select the best option for the current value.

Thank you for replying, the problem is that the schedule is not really scheduled, I was just trying to create a matrix and couldn't find it in the schedule, so I created just a simple family with some texts and labels,

If you use 2017 you can do the same with labels. Create parameter A for linear feet and calculated value B = A with metric format.
