I am by no means a beginner revit user but I struggle greatly with editing families. All I want to do with the default revit vanity is raise the counter top to 34" and turn the 4 panel drawers to 2 horizontal ones. I unpin the top 4 reference lines and shift them a foot up but it messes everything up. The panels I can figure out once the height is changed. In real simple terms how does one do this? Maybe I can figure it out if someone is kind enough to edit it. Thanks

I would throw this family out and start over with a new one. There are plenty of parametric vanity families in the stock Revit Content Library, as well as on-line from places like BIMObject.com.
I notice that this is a Plumbing Fixture Family - not a Casework Family. I would suggest modeling the two families separately and nesting them together - if need be. Make the Plumbing Family Shared and nest it into the Casework Family.
How do you search bimobject.com because all I see are for vanities are metric models with no parameters for width, length, and height
Why don't you use the "Vanity Cabinet-Double Door & 1 Drawer.rfa" that is in the Revit Content Library? It's fully parametric. I've attached it here.
By the way, there would be no drawers UNDER a sink. There would be doors.
Took me 3 hours but finally figured something that works attached
Why are you sharing this Family with us? And, what exactly took you 3 hours to figure out? Are you wanting more input from us to help you build it correctly? If so, I would follow the advise I gave you above.
OH! I see now that you gave yourself a little green checkmark for this. In other words, this is your acceptable solution. Interesting. Not something I'd use, but whatever floats your boat.
Have a good day. Take care.
