Change Coordinates of a Point

I want to change the coordinates of a point. I have drafted a line to be able to pick up a point. When coordinates/specifying the coordinates of the point, Revit does not change the coordinates, help much appreciated!

Steve,

I need to have the corner of a wall in a specific coordinate, I can move the PBP to that wall and specify the coordinate there but then the PBP and internal origin are in a different position is that a problem?

Is the wall wrong or the entire building model?

'not with putting something in the model you can attach a spot coordinate on' I agree but if I want a specific coordinate how do I get it? By just putting something in the model will give me a random coordinate, won't it?.

Thanks!

I asked whether the building or the wall is wrong earlier because the answer is different for each situation. If the entire building is in the wrong spot then that can be fixed either by moving the whole building model or using the Survey Coordinate System.

If the wall is in the wrong location then it can be fixed by moving the wall to the correct location.

Revit isn't going to show you all the coordinates so you can pick one. It was also built intentionally to retire (or ignore) the cartesian coordinate data entry process.

Regardless, awhile ago I wanted to mark each corner of a property boundary so I could sketch a property line using those points. Someone else gave me the coordinates I needed. I wrote a blog post about it, you could take a similar approach to mark locations and then adjust the wall(s).
