Hello all,

I am fairly new to revit.

I have uploaded several 3d models (not an Revit model) in my design. But is showing in its original colors. Is there a way to change this so the 3d model looks consistent?

What is the file format you imported?

Usually you can control the layer's colors through VV > Imported Categories.

Architecture Modelling, BIM Workflows and Information Exchange.

If for example it was a 3D dwg when loading in you can set colour to black and white

link CAD.PNG

As for files already in you model, if you select the linked file and right click, override graphics in view - by element

override in view#.PNG

Then change the projection lines colour to black and apply

override colour.PNG

If you are importing OBJ, Collada or glTF you can change the material settings, and therefore get the color adjusted. See the video tutorial in this page.
