Change color of import cad file in Revit

Hello,

the only way to change the color of imported .cad file is create several layer on Autocad and then import the file on Revit?

There ins't possibility to color the imported file on Revit after the importing?

Thank's

If you want to change the entire linework of the CAD import to ONE color then you can just select it, right click and override element in view. If you want to change it to more than one colors then you have to create layers, move linework to different layers, and assign objects with Color by Layer in the CAD file first.

I tried this to change the whole linked CAD to one color,  but what I got is the window below, no color choice. I am using Revit 2023, I noticed this is an old thread.

Hi @hliS658H

Can you expand the Projection Lines dropdown menu and then the color option should then be visible.
