Change Base Elevation on New Model but Existing model stays the same?

I have an issue with a project.

I have a project that is an addition onto an existing building.
The buildings are connected by a ramp and walkway.
Until today they were both on the same elevation (I'm in South Florida so everything is flat)

At the start I simply copied the original building, changed it to existing and proceeded to create the addition.
Everything is at elevation FFE 0'-0" (9.2 NAVD)

Today we found out that since hurricane Ian they have changed the flood zone and now my addition will be 12.0 NAVD while the existing building is 9.2 NAVD

Is there anyway to raise raise the base elevation of the NEW addition to 12.0' and have the existing base elevation 9.2' other than erasing the existing side and referencing it back at the lower elevation?

Thanks,

Are you saying you have two buildings in the same project or one building linked into another project?  If the latter, you could link them into another project (or projects) and orient them to that project's coordinate system.  Then Publish that project's coordinate system back to the links.  Projects can have multiple Sites.

No, 1 project.

Existing building and new addition are in the same project.

So, are you saying that the buildings' relationship to one another changes (e.g. one needs to be at a higher elevation)?

...if so, the solution could be easy to difficult, depending on where you are at in the development of Project as a whole.  Hard to advise you without knowing a great deal more info.  If you want to post your RVT, maybe that would help us to help you.

Model is fully developed. 90% complete and almost 200 MB..

I believe the only solution is to separate the new addition from the existing and reference the existing at another elevation.

I was just hoping someone might have had a similar problem and a slick solution....

YEs, the buildings relationship to each other changes.

Got a question. Aren't your buildings currently at different elevations AND originating from different LEVELS?

I would separate the existing to a different model and link it back in.
