Ceiling there in model, but dissappearing in RCP...

I have been working on a file and placed my ceilings on the Level 1 Ceiling Plan. When I go into 3D model view following, my ceilings are there but come up only half way up my walls. I proceed to offset the ceiling to the correct height, however, then the ceiling dissappears on my Ceiling plan. Furthermore, I cannot proceed to place lights. I am new to Revit, and in school. We are working on this for a project. Any suggestions?

Visability graphics are on for ceilings.

Could this be a glich? Many people in the class have found their ceiling plans dissappearing too. Or could this be an issue with floor change or walls? We have a 10 inch step down in the back side of the floorplan, and we accomplished this with offsetting the floor to that height. Walls however are all the correct height.

Before you changed the ceiling's elevation, it was within the view range set for the RCP view.

After you changed the ceiling's elevation, it was no longer within the view range set for the RCP view.

Adjust the view range set for the RCP view until it once again encompasses the ceiling.
