Ceiling Swept Blend Swoop

Hi all, I am trying to create a swoop/curved ceiling that has two different profiles. One end swoops over an arched window (Palladian window) and then smoothens out to a flat ceiling. As I sweep them using the swept blend, the geometry keeps getting distorted to one side or the other or both. Please see screenshot for visuals. I am certain the profiles match in terms of reference planes. What is causing this distortion (if that is the right word)? Is there a better way to do this? Thank you.

Do you have a picture showing what it should look like?  Hard to tell from these Screenshots.

Something like this?

...accomplished by creating an In-Place Mass and hosting a Wall to the Face.

thanks for the reply. i hope these are a bit more clear. these are "wireframes" that appear when I try to adjust the vertices. on the left I have quickly edited it to show the intended geometry based on the sweeping of the two profiles. on the right is what I actually get, it becomes distorted to one corner.

yes this is almost it - basically yes however the profile on the front should be smoothening out flat on the sides.

Are you creating a Mass Form?  That's how I would get there.  Then afterwards apply a Roof or Wall by [Mass] Face.
