ceiling grid pattern

I am trying to change my ceiling grids from 2' x 2' to 600mm x 600mm

I made a duplicate of my current ceiling type then went into the structure and changed the "Acoustic ceiling tile 24 x 24" to "ceiling tile 600 x 600"

When I update the ceilings to the new type, the ceiling grids all go away.

(the ceilings are still in the right place when I go to a section view.)

I feel like an idiot, but I cant figure out how to get the ceiling grids back with the new tile type

is there a better way of doing this?

Does the 600x600 ceiling type have a material assigned to it? Does that material have a 600x600 MODEL pattern?

You need to look at the graphics tab.

If your project units are Feet and Inches then you created a pattern 600" x 600" or 50' x 50' so you're pattern is too large to be "seen" most likely. When you create the fill pattern you need to specify the units so Revit will convert the 600mm to the imperial equivalent value (23 159/256"). When you type in the dimensions add "mm" so Revit knows you mean millimeters.
