CANT EDIT FAMILY

Hello everyone 

I copied a wall which has profile with it as a sweep. In the project browser, there is no option to edit the family. At the same time, I am not able to access the profile from the wall.

How can I edit the family?

You are selecting the Type...you need to right click the parent family right above it (Highlighted in Yellow below it)

To access the Sweep Profiles from the Wall, the preview need to be set to SECTION (see image 2)

@RDAOU  how do I open the profile in family editor in order to change the dimensions?

You do not need to edit the family for that...

• right click 1 type in the project browser
• Click Type Properties
• Duplicate/create a new type
• give that new type the new dimensions
