Cant create similar element because previous element was deleted

I am attempting to create a ramp in my project. I had previously done so and deleted it in its entirety due to it not being what i needed (as tends to happen). It doesnt show in ANY plans, sections or the 3d model. Trouble is, now I cannot create any ramp (all of the other tools work fine, such as stairs). When I click the ramp tool it immediately goes to the error popup that states the ramps base must be below its top, which i cannot edit in the properties tab because the error cannot be ignored. So i click delete elements, because its either that or cancel. Clicking delete elements returns another error popup that cant be ignored, stating cant delete element that is being edited. When you expand that error, it has the message (Deleted element): id = 349302. From here i can only export the error html (will be linked), cancel or collapse. I have tried purging the file, transferring it to another pc, and even going back to previous backups to no avail. I really need to find a way to resolve this as I have deadline approaching for this school project, or find a different for making ramps.

Add a new level below the lowest level and create the ramp from that level to reset the base. After that you can create ramps normally and delete the temp level.
