Why would I not be able to collaborate in the cloud in Revit 2018, but I can in Revit 2019.
When I try to collaborate in 2018 I receive this access denied message. Are separate licenses applied to each year edition of the application, like I need a 2018 license and a separate 2019 license?

I don't think so, however, with working from home, I vpn in to get to my revit license to open revit 2018, and if I don't vpn in I get this message.
But I don't think this would have anything to do with collaborating in the cloud. I have a bim 360 license, does it only apply to 2019?
Be sure you have the most recent update for 2018. I believe it needs to be 2018.3.
You will need to update your Revit then.
Okay I will look into that. Has that been the resolution for you before?
I have not, but I know for a fact the software has to be up to date.
Okay, I hope this fixes it, I'm not too confident though because you can have earlier updates of the application and still collab in the cloud, you wouldnt lose your license or not be able to find it, as far as I know.
