Cannot tag a linked room!

Hi

I'm trying to tag rooms from linked architectural model, but the room tag is not appearing on the view, i can see the room from linked model, just cannot tag it. I've checked all VG settings, all room are visible both in model and linked model, i also checked the phase and workset, they are all setting correct.

I don't know why it happens, is it room tag family issue or linked model issue?

I attached on screenshot to show the situation, as you can see, the host option on top ribbon is unavailable.

Hope someone can solve this problem for me, Thank you so much!

The host option is always that way.  This is very simple but i notice that your cursor is not over any rooms.  Are you trying to place on areas that dont have rooms.  I see you have rooms interior fill on.  That's why i bring this up.  When you click on a room do you see a warning appear?

Thanks Nate

i do put the room tag on the area which have interior fill, generally, i think if it's view range or VG problem, i will see a warning window. But for this model, when i click on room tag button and move mouse on the view, i even cannot see the room tag symbol, whatever how many time i click on room area, it just nothing happens, it's so weird.

Thanks
