I have been unable to print to PDF via Bluebeam for the last 2 days. Revit starts the print and then completely freezes up and I can't do anything except end the Revit task in Task Manager. I've tried 4 different times printing to Bluebeam PDF and it has not worked, so I'm now using the Revit native PDF exporter. I need to print 28 sheets and it took about 20 minutes using the Revit PDF exporter, but at least I got my PDFs created.
Any ideas on what's going on with Bluebeam?
It seems like there might be something else going on here if Bluebeam export is crashing and Revit export is taking that long.
Do you have some really dense lines somewhere in the project by chance? Or a lot of curved lines?
Have you tried exporting another project?
Bluebeam PDF crashes and Revit PDF Exported takes a long time, those indicate your drawings have some heavy graphics to print. Look at the PDFs and see which have a large file size and go from there.
what version of Revit and BB? And what hardware?
Did you try an older than 2 days version or different project where that wasn't an issue assuming this is a new problem?
First I would check to see if the PDF can be printed within Revit using another method to see if it is not the PDF that is the issue?
If they work using Print to PDF in Revit then look at the following;
Revit crashes or freezes when attempting to print from the Bluebeam PDF Add-in (autodesk.com)
