Hey Guys
I´m having trouble with opening a project from the Revit Server in Revit 2016.
When I open Revit, klick on the Project that is located on the revit Server, and klick on OPEN, I get error-messages.
The first one says
This Operation could not be completed. Please try again. If you are collaboration on a model using A360 or Revit Server, check your Network Connection. If the Problem persists, save any changes to the models locally.
The second one:
Revit could not create a local file from RSN://<server-adress>/<project-name.rvt>. This could be due to a network problem. You can try again or contact technical support.
It´s weird because only some Computers got that problem. If I log in on that Computer with my normal account I get that error. If someone else logs in on that Computer with a normal account he gets that error as well. If I log in on that Computer with an Admin-Account I do not get that error. If I log in on another Computer I do not get that error.
And on an older Version of Revit (2014) we don´t have any problems like this at all.
Our IT-Guys have no glue how to handle that.
Thank you for your help.
Greetings
Christopher

Thank you for your answer.
I checked all your points but it did not work. We also set up a new Profile and erased and installed the whole revit suit.
What else could I do?
Thank you!

Please, send me the journal files and the sever logs the article mentions.
I´d be happy to take a look at them or even forward them to the development team for further investigation if necessary.

Hi zsolt.varga,
thank you very much for your answer. But actually I did not try your way.
We got a solution that is way more simple than we thought.
Our IT-Guys however changed the "Default path for user files" in the Installation-package. So there was chosen a folder from another user-profile. That´s why Revit could not save the local file on the Computer.
In the attached Picture you can see the "Default path for user files" with my user-id (idm164818). Before there was the user-id from one of the admins.
I really want to thank you guys for your ideas.
Greetings
