Cannot move inside a model - no snapping points availabe

Hey guys, i'm just starting in Revit and i'm struggling to do a simple task.

1) I've inserted a Coordination Model (NWD file) thats is poorly scaled - there is a mining plant very small in the model, seems that there is another structure "lost" far-far-far away from main site, but i cannot edit it....

2) I´ve inserted a DWG containing a crane.

When i try to move, i get the snapping points into the DWG model, but i cannot get the snapping points in the NWD model. If i try to eyeball, the crane gets "under" the site. If i try to move into 2D, its impossible to do it without snapping points.

Screen capture attached.

NWDs are for visual coordination. You can it snap to it

If I remember correctly you can't snap to NWD files, their geometry is just for referencing where ACAD info is more snap-able.

I would recommend that you move the crane in floor/ site plan and create reference planes to get the location setup better.

Also note, Navis files are to scale, so the scale you are working with is 'correct' from Navis, if the scale is wrong in Navis then it's coming in wrong from the authoring software where it was modelled or was manually scaled in Navis.
