Hello all,
I imported a dwg file in a Titleblock family in order to have it as a reference. The scale of the dwg was really big (because of the units) so I imported it again with the correct units and it was ok.
The problem is that when I import the titleblock in the Revit project, it is really small because it seems that the dwg with the wrong scale is always inside the family. When I check the family, there is not any imported file (I had deleted the dwgs ) , I have checked all the visibility parameters. Check images.
Do you have any idea?
Thank you in advance!
fix the units in the DWG so it imports correctly from the start.

Yes I fixed them, and the second importation was correct. but the first dwg with the wrong scale seems to be still in the rfa and I cannot find a way to delete it.
Ahhhh i see...
Did you go to Mange > Purge Unused ?
also if you imported the DWG you brought in a the layers, line styles, hatch patterns, etc.... they should be cleaned out and a Purge will not get them. Manage > Additional Settings > Fill Patters, Line Styles, Line Patterns and clean out all the stuff that came in from the CAD import.

Yes I did it. It is so strange.. I checked everything inside the family and I cannot find it. Just one more info that maybe help.. in the project I see this dwg when I go V/G and turn on Imported categories > Imports in families
If I run Dynamo it seems that there is in the .rfa the imported dwg (I suppose that it is) but I cannot delete it. (maybe it is pinned?!)
Thank you!
try pyRevit it is a free tool for revit. i believe there are tools in there to help clean out that kind of content.
