Cannot export mirrored links to IFC

We are facing issue with exporting some stair models from Revit 2019 to IFC. We're unable to export them from the central model because they’ve been copied and mirrored (two instances of the same model). We also tried sharing our Revit models with external partners, but they aren’t seeing the stair models in the correct positions.

We attempted to bind the models into the central file, but that only caused additional issues, as many elements were deleted in the process. Creating new separate mirrored models for the stairs also didn’t resolve the problem. Do you guys have any other suggestions on what we might try?

Thank you!

I tried, but I encountered the same error with the new Revit link: 'Mirrored link cannot be exported.'

Now, you have two links, one is normal and two is mirror , right?

Thank you, it worked! The additional issue was with the shared coordinates of the "original" file. I had to remove the link from the central file, then re-link both the original and mirrored files. This time, I used the internal site location instead of my saved georeferenced position, and it worked.

@azad.Nanva do you experience noticeable productivity loss with your recommended approach to export mirror link to IFC?

Actually no, what will degrade the quality is actually the details that we don't need in the mirrored link. We only need the model to create an IFC.
