Please help
I have been trying to cut a parametric ceiling baffle system family at my walls and windows but cannot manage to do it. I have tried void forms and the cut tool but it will not work.
It is rendering outside the windows and i cannot shape it to fit anything other than a square.
Looks like the family created is a Generic Model Family. If using void forms (Modeled in Place), you will need to make sure it is in the same category as the item, you are using it on.
I've created a solid mass where I want to cut but it won't allow me to select the solid mass when I select the family with the cutting tool ![]()

Sorry, about that. I just realized the image you shared has the family you created highlighted.
Instead of using the family you created, try using sloped glazing. You can create profiles that represent your baffle and apply it to the mullions under edit type.
See attached.

Unfortunately none of the solutions worked for the family I was attempting to cut. I ended up photoshopping the object out of my renders in post
