Cannot add BIM library wall to project

Hi

I have recently downloaded a rvt file from the National BIM library in the UK whichb contains several basic wall types.

https://www.nationalbimlibrary.com/en-gb/generic/weatherboard-cladding-with-timber-frameweather-barr...

I have an existing project that I would like to use one of the downloaded wall types in but I cannot for the life of me work out how to do it. When I drag the wall type into my project from the National BIM Library plugin in tells me I need to upgrade the model, which I do, I then get a new tab called wall schedule, and If I open level 1 I get several cross sections of wall that I can click on which show up in the properties panel as walls I can edit. I cannot get these wall into my already open project. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I just tested by downloading the Wall and no issues.  I followed your workflow as well. Opened the Wall RVT file, went to 3D View, selected all the Walls, and Clipboard Copied/Pasted them to a different Project.

...Try Transfer Project Standards or Load As Group into Project

Hi Barth

I just found a youtube video which uses the Transfer Project standards method and it worked exactly as I needed it to. Thanks for you reply.
