I can't find any canada libraries on my computer. I downloaded the 2020 canada content but is showing me some templates and the libraries have a few items but there is stuff that is missing, like doors, for example. Where can I download the canada library or where can I find the complete content?
you can download it here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-revi...
Pay attention to where it installs to, and make sure you can find the content using windows explorer. Based on the size of the download it may be missing some content and perhaps you should also download and install the US Metric.
So the US metric will have the same as the Canada right?
I installed the Canada Content one on the link but I guess it's not downloading all of them. Thanks tho!
That's the one I downloaded, the RVT2020_CAN_content, and extracted to: This Pc/(C:)/Program Data/Autodesk/RVT2020
Not showing all the elements on the library tho.
Thanks!
The GBR (Great Britain) library may also be of interest to you. It just depends on which country your construction is most similar to. Being part of the Commonwealth might mean you get content more like you use in the GBR library.
Make sure you use the right content library. There's a huge difference between the contents as this screenshot shows.
Canada, USA and Great Britain "Chair - Breuer" Family:
That's true. However what else can I do if its not downloading lol.
Thank you so much for your help, really appreciate it!
I was being facetious. A chair is a chair is a chair -- regardless of the continent/country it is located. The unit of measurement used to describe the chair's dimensions may be different, but the geometry of the chair remains the same.
....we model 1:1 in Revit. Pick your own units of measurement through Manage Tab=>Project Units.
