Is it possible to merge model detached from a central model that included some changes, for example new views or some deleted elements back to the central model? By merging I mean Revit reconciling any changes between the models by itself.

It is possible to Copy/Paste some elements from one model to another or use Insert From File. Check out Tim's blog post for copying views to another project too.

@SteveKStafford thanks, I've clarified my question. I was hoping for revit to resolve changes on its own in the same or similar manner as it does for local -> central models.
Once you detach, it becomes a separate model. Even if merging was possible, how would Revit know which change is the one you want and has priority?
Unfortunately you have to pick which model is the closest to what you actually want, and manually implement changes that were done in the other model.
I answered with what is possible. A detached model is a permanent divorce, can't remarry the data except through awkward passing of data from one file to another.

No.
