Can you have Keynote tags from a linked model, appear on a Keynote Schedule / Legends ?

I'm trying to create a keynote legend that includes keynotes from a linked file.

I am able to see the keynotes that live in the linked .rvt model, However, the "Include Elements from Linked Files" option is grayed out. when i edit the Schedule.
Are there any good workarounds for this?

They appear in the keynote legend only if they are tagged

No, the schedule only reports keynote items in the local file, not linked models. The availability of the option to include elements in linked files in this instance is misleading.
