Can't see my ceiling or 3D view

I finished making an RCP and closed my project. When I opened it again to continue working I couldn't see my ceiling plans or default 3D view. I've tried changing the view range and modes and looking at the visibility/graphic properties. I haven't been able to see what caused the problem or how to fix it. I can see the ceiling in camera 3D views and in sections. I attached a screenshot of what my level 1 ceiling tab looks like.

I suspect the view range is not set high enough.  Try "Unlimited".  Keep in mind that Ceiling View Range is opposite  or backwards of Plan View Range.   Your are looking up in Ceiling View. You are looking down in Plan View.

I just tried setting the top and depth to unlimited, but it's still blank.

Check to see if the category is turned on.   Also, turn on Reveal Hidden Elements (lightbulb icon) to see if it is Hidden in the View.  Also check your View Phase to make sure it's set to the Phase of the Ceiling.

Here's a nifty list of other possibities.

Thank you for all your help. Turns out it was an exit sign that I downloaded.

Exit sign???  How  was an exit sign the culprit?  Do tell.

I tried recreating the ceiling in a recovery file from a week ago and when I tried adding the view to a sheet it wouldn't show up. I had downloaded a few things from sites online and when nothing else worked I removed those objects from my project one at a time. When I removed the exit sign it showed up perfectly on the sheet so I went to my newer project and deleted the exit sign. When I opened the ceiling view everything worked fine.

Odd and intriguing, @Anonymous .   Do you think you could post that family here?  Love to test.  Thanks in advance.

Yah, this family was behaving very weirdly. It threw an error I don't think I have never encountered before. I'm betting that a CAD element was at one time resident in the family and then exploded. A real no-no.  Anyways, I think I got all the "shrapnel" removed. Seems to be okay now, albeit it could be built a little better.

File is attached.
