Hi everyone, I have modeled this handle in a "casework" family, when bring it into a different family for placement I can't rotate it so that it's in a vertical position and get this message (Element cannot be mirrored or rotated in a manner that changes its angle relative to the ground). I have read other posts and have played with making it a group, rotating and checking off the Disjoin box, checking the always vertical option as well with no luck. I have modeled the handle using reference planes so that I can constrain its placement dimensions relative to a cabinet door and these constrains do work at the orientation its modeled in, I just can't get it to rotate to a vertical position even when I have not constrained it to any other object within my project. I have attached my model hoping to get this resolved.
Thanks!

Check Work Plane-Based and uncheck Always Vertical and then load it and place it on a NAMED Ref. Plane/Work Plane in Parent Family.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, much appreciated! It took a few tries but finally was able to get it to work, I had to try inserting it trying different views.
