Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble renaming levels on Revit as it says its already in use but it's not.
Right now I have levels called C1 GROUND, C1 LEVEL 01, C1 LEVEL 02... ETC
and I want to be able to create C2 GROUND, C2 LEVEL 01, C2 LEVEL 02 ETC
C1 and C2 refers to two different buildings we're working on which will have different levels.
I can't create the C2 without getting this message. Do you guys know why that might be?
Thanks.

I'm curious.
It would help if you could upload the file here. We don't need the Revit elements, only the levels. You can delete everything else, save it as a new file, and then upload the rvt file here.
If you can't upload the rvt file, can you create a level schedule to see a list of all levels in your project and then upload the screenshot? Also, turn on "include elements in links."
Cheers,

Try creating a new floor plan to see a list of all levels already in the project.
@RobRocks make sure you uncheck the "Do Not Duplicate Existing Views" at the bottom of the new floor plan window

It need not be the level-name that is the problem. It can also be the name of the corresponding plan view.

So also check for view's / area-plans with the new name (C2 GROUND etc)
