Can't "Hide Column" in schedule

Revit 2023 won't let me "Hide Column" in schedule.

Only happens with the column furthest to the left, for some reason.

See screenshots below of Revit 2022.1 and Revit 2023.

Strange.  Can you hide the Field under Formatting tab?

Is that a column in the Parent Schedule next to a column in an Embedded Schedule?

Don’t know…
All I know is: I was able to do it on 2022 but not on 2023.
I’m reverting to 2022.
2023 also mirrored the text on some keynotes.
It really messed me up - whole day wasted…
Don’t want to find out any more issues

An "Embedded Schedule" is a Schedule that is embedded into another.

My thinking is that it may have something to do with Embedded Schedule. Maybe the Separator character used?  Dunno. Just troubleshooting here with the limited information you've provided.  All I can say for sure, is that I can't replicate that behavior/issue.

Might help if you post your "bad" file here so we can test.

I’ll try to upload “bad” file later.

Yeah I only start a working project on a new version AFTER at least one service pack.

Here is a file with the schedule.

Sorry it took so long...

I downloaded this from a post so it might have gotten corrupted...

Let me know if you can get the first column on the left to unhide and then hide again in 2023.

I removed 2023 from my computer.

Will see if I can update once there is a service pack.

Remove the Parameter Field from Sorting and Grouping Tab.

Isn’t that what sorts the order of the abbreviations?
Why is it possible to hide/un hide in 2022 but not 2023?

For now, go to Formatting tab and hide/unhide it until Autodesk issues a fix.

Or, simply move the column so it is not the first one to the left then you can Hide it via right click menu or ribbon.

Thanks for the response.
I went back to 2022.
Lost some work but things look better and I am able to set the schedule the way I want.
I saw some other funky stuff on 2023 like mirrored text on keynotes so I just decided to revert to 2022 before I wasted even more time adding work, only to find out more problems.
Thanks again
