Can't print linked NWC content as part of a Revit View on a sheet

I have several NWC files linked into my Revit 2019 model for coordination with other trades.  However when I print a sheet with one of these views on it, it will not print the NWC content.  It recognizes the NWC content as it prompts that it has to print in Raster format.  It does not display in the PDF or the Revit Preview.

I have tried different PDF drivers with no success.

Are others able to print the NWC content from Revit?

Thank you!

I reviewed this post prior to posting.  I am ok with printing in Raster, it just won't work.  Smiley Frustrated

I was just able to print views from Revit 2019  that contain linked NWD and NWC files using Bluebeam PDF. I am able to see both formats.

I also had success using PDF Creator and Newforma PDF.

I tried PDFCreator with as well, no success.  I wonder what i am doing differently.  I'll keep looking into it, just wanted to make sure it was possible.

Thanks!

As a test, try linking the Navisworks data into a new file to see if you can print from there.  Maybe there is something going on with the view(s) in that particular file.

Does the view have a custom view crop region, you know, like a jigsaw shape for instance?

Good suggestion!  I did that and it prints.  I created a fresh view within the same model and it worked as well.  It must be a setting within my view template, now just gotta figure that out.  Any suggested settings that would impact this?

Thanks for the help!

To follow up on @ToanDN 's question about viewport shapes - is the viewport that is not printing this info a simple rectangular viewport or is it cropped or reshaped in some way?

Other than that, if an item is visible in a view, it should print with the view (WYSIWYG) - unless there is an issue of some sort with the view itself.  Can you recreate the view that it is not printing from relatively easy?

It is something within the view template. I created a new view from
scratch within the same model and it prints fine. As soon as I apply the
view template it stops working. I'll start hunting and pecking, i'll let
you know when I get this resolved. If you have an idea of what setting
could be causing this please let me know.

Thanks again!

I FIGURED IT OUT!  The view was set to wireframe instead of hidden lines.  It's the little things!  Thanks to everyone for your help!

Has anyone noticed this issue in Revit 2021? I was previously working in 2019 and had no issue printing NWC/coordination models as part of my composite mechanical drawings. Since the upgrade, I have had no luck getting these to plot. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Try to print to raster.
