I am unable to place a sweep on a wall in a particular view - nothing happens when I hover over the wall. The sweep does work as expected however on the same wall in another view. Any suggestions on what may be causing this?

You say that you aren't able to place it in one particular view. Can you place it in any other view?

It works OK in the view I am having the problem with when I isolate Walls and Wall Sweep categories,
Problem solved? Not really. I want to find out why the problem is happening in that view only, but it's not preventing me from adding the sweeps since I can easily add them in other 3D views of the same wall, and so far all 2D views. Thanks!
I can't post the model due to Owner's wishes, but I just discovered this interesting behavior:
When I select the wall I want to place the sweep on (at the green circle), the floating image of the sweep (highlighted in yellow) appears seemingly perpendicular to the wall I'm selecting. The other sweeps are at the orange arrows.

Could be nothing more than a corrupted view. It happens inexplicably sometimes - in every Version. Autodesk even publishes a solution for it. Delete the corrupt 3D view and recreate it.
