Can't place floor tag

I have my floor showing, but it will not let me place a floor tag. It says, "The selection can’t be pasted because it is not visible in this view. Common causes and solutions The category is not visible in this view (make category visible) An annotation element falls outside this view’s annotation crop (temporarily disable annotation cropping) The element tagged by an annotation is not visible (check view extents and depth)" What I don't understand is the floor isn't hidden so why can't it be tagged?

Are you copying and pasting tag? Have you tried Tag by Category(TG)?

as above post said place tag directly without copying then you can tag through selections and find floor to tag.

HEey Guys, 

   I have 5 linked buildings on one site and I've been trying all morning to copy the wall tag (1/4" wall tag scnf) to each building but it's not working and ive ran out of solutions. 

What am I doing wrong?
