can't paste

hello,

i've downloaded a curtain wall from a major window company and the instructions say that, in order to use this curtain, i need to open the file, then copy paste the curtain to my project file.

the problem is that when i copy the curtain i can't paste to my project file, the paste option is grey and the ctr+v is not working

do you know what can i do?

Don't use Windows control+key options.

Select the wall. Use Revit's Modify > Clipboard > Copy to clipboard tool. Then switch to your destination project and use Revit's Modify > Clipboard > Past from clipboard tool.

It worked for me without any problem.

I used windows copy and paste and it worked for me too. It was at revit 15 file and it updated to revit 2016 for me.

The wall was pinned. That's why you cant copy it.

Try it, select the wall and use "Ctrl + X", it will not cut it.

But if you select the curtain wall itself and use copy or cut, you can do it.

thank you very much, the problem was that some elements were pined, and i could copy past inside the file but not to another file.. problem solved, thank you all
