Can't make extrusion - from typeface

I installed a typeface to Windows but it seems like it may not be compatible with Revit. The goal was to create Model Text with a specific typeface for the building numbers. Since that didn't work, I imported a DWG of the character outlines and created detail lines in a new family. I was able to extrude 2/4 numbers but they aren't all working. 

Here is what the "3" tells me:

The other error message I received told me that extrusions can't have self-intersection splines. 

There don't appear to be any self-intersecting splines in the sketch.

I am posting the file in case anybody wants to check it out.

What font is it?  How did you determine that it is not compatible with Revit?

You can import the character outlines DWG to an adaptive family and create form for each character.  Revit 2002 family attached.

Yes, Revit can be difficult sometimes. Besides solution given by @ToanDN it also can be done in your family

The splines create some issues. What I did was:

-Create an extrusion.

-Use the pick lines to select the detail lines and press ok. Resulting in an error

-Then editing the outline by deleting some lines and pressing Ok again until extrusion is ok.

Hereby you zoom in on the problematic areas.

-Repeat this process to get an idea which lines cause issues

-Deleted those problematic lines and created a new spline in the same place matching it closely to the visible detail lines.

Can be a tedious process if you have lots of them

This is how I determined that the typeface was incompatible.

I opened this in Revit 2023 and it looks good except I can't bring it into my 2021 project.

Are you thinking that if I followed this process inside an adaptive family rather than wall-based, I would be able to achieve your results?

Yes.  You can do it as an adaptive family in Revit 2021.  Adaptive and Massing families employ a different modeling mechanism than regular families <source: dude trust me> so they can achieve something regular families can't.
