Can't insert pointcloud

Dear readers,

I have just opened the outlines of my main Revit file.
Now I would like to also insert a pointcloud. Unfortunately the button is not working.
Does anybody now why or has a workaround for me? 

Would be very grateful. 🙂 Thank you in advance.

Go to a Model View such as 3D.

You are in a drafting view....you cannot insert Point Clouds into drafting views...Open a Plan View or Elevation view instead

If you want it in a drafting view for some specific reason/purpose, then it needs to be converted to DWG (ie: you go first through ACAD then from ACAD to Revit & into a Drafting view
