So, we have a big (920GB) Revit model and a tight deadline. Everything is laggy and slow, so I want to try to improve the performance of our cloud-based model. We don't have a BIM manager, so I think to myself, "I'll have a go at doing it." "Google is your friend." I google it. I find this page:
It tells me to install the BIM Interoperability Tools.
I click on the link. It takes me to another page, with another link. I click on that link. It takes me to my Autodesk account. Still no sign of the tools. I google how to download them. I follow the instructions. I go to 'Product Updates'. I change the filter from 'Past 3 Months' to 'All'. I type 'BIM' into the search field...
Nothing.
What am I doing wrong? I thought this was a free add-on for Revit users. We have a full Revit subscription. We have BIM 360.
WHY. DOES. EVERYTHING. TO. DO. WITH. REVIT. HAVE. TO. BE. SO. F@#&ING. DIFFICULT!!!!
Please help me... I must be a complete moron because I just cannot figure out this Kafkaesque system.
Thanks
